8BY8 LEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Description: This role requires you to understand and immerse yourself in all aspects of 8BY8, with a heavy focus on player development. It’s a role that comes with great responsibility as you will continue to enhance our reputation and have the exciting task of getting to know every player, delivering a variety of sessions through out the season.
You’ll also be expected to communicate with parents in the correct 8BY8 manner and look to help create and organise opportunities and experiences for the players.
This role requires commitment to evenings and weekends.

Type: Full time / Permanent

Hours: 25hrs p/week

Salary: £14,000 - £18,000 per annum. An increased salary can be discussed for the suitable candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan and review sessions.
• Develop a good understanding of all players and their ability sets.
• View fixtures and part manage football teams
• Deliver all types of session in accordance to the weekly rota.
• Produce sessions plans and programmes.
• Gain a strong understanding of an academy football player.
• Develop your understanding of junior football and the various leagues.
• Help with other operating jobs at managers request.
• Cover sports coaching, pre school sessions where needed.
• Deliver parties and help to run holiday courses.
• Review and analyse match footage
• Communicate with parents & schools when required to do so.

Qualifications, skills & Abilities:
• Minimum level one coaching, safeguarding and first aid qualifications essential (First aidand safeguarding can be acquired on the role)
• Enhanced DBS certificate (can be gained)
• Previous coaching experience required
• Enthusiasm to work with kids and understand their development needs
• An outgoing, energetic personality
• Team player
• Professional standards

Support & continued development:
As part of the role you will be expected to continue developing your understanding of all coaching aspects, 8BY8 Football Ltd will support you with any further coaching qualifications with the assurance you will use them during your employment period with 8BY8 Football Ltd, as outlined in your employee contract.

Review Process:
3 months after start date then every 6 months there after
